WAT Medical Donates Money to MD Anderson Cancer Center

MD Anderson Cancer Center, founded in 1941, is a well-known specialized oncology hospital in the world. It is one of the three early comprehensive cancer treatment centers designated by the National Cancer Action Plan of the United States in 1971, and one of the 39 comprehensive cancer treatment centers designated by the Oncology Medical Association at present. It is a world-class cancer diagnosis and treatment center. More than 79,000 cancer patients are treated every year at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and more than 11,000 patients participate in clinical trials at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

WAT Med provides innovative home medical devices based on wearable and treatable (WAT) technology.

EmeTerm is a wearable physiotherapy device for nausea and vomiting. It can be used for carsickness, seasickness, pregnancy and chemotherapy vomiting. The products have been certified by FDA, CE, HC, TGA, CFDA and Israel, and have been sold in more than 30 countries and cruise channels in the US-Caribbean region.

EmeTerm was awarded the Hanover iF Industrial Design Award for its superior usability design and extremely simplified operating interface. Since 2017, EmeTerm’s presence on Amazon has been well received by customers in North America and Europe and currently ranks top in sales of non-pharmaceutical antiemetic products.

WAT Medical Enterprise Ltd. promised to donate $1 to MD Anderson Cancer Center for every EmeTerm antiemetic device sold on Amazon.com.
