EmeTerm Brand Story: A Story of Love, Told for 12 Years

Every year in May, we return to where it all began. Since 2014, EmeTerm, a Canadian-born brand, has been driven by a simple yet powerful mission: Supplying Innovative Self-CareMedical Devices, In practice, we want to make nausea and discomfort manageable—anytime, anywhere.

EmeTerm has never tried to tell a grand story. Instead, we begin with something simple—a story of love. And for the past 12 years, that story has quietly continued, reaching more people in ways we never imagined.

What started as a personal moment of care evolved into a broader belief: that relief doesn't always have to come from stronger intervention, but sometimes from working with the body itself.

A Different Way to Relieve Nausea

EmeTerm is built on a fundamental idea—the human body already possesses highly precise and efficient self-regulation mechanisms. These systems, shaped by millions of years of evolution, govern balance, protection, and reflex responses with a level of sophistication that often surpasses engineered solutions.

Among these mechanisms are neural pathways that connect the brain and gut, including reflex arcs that can influence nausea and vomiting. EmeTerm works as an innovative complementary therapy, gently activating these natural pathways. By delivering targeted micro-pulses to the PC6 point on the wrist, the device stimulates the body's own anti-nausea response—helping restore balance in a way that feels intuitive rather than invasive.

It's not about replacing existing treatments, but about offering another option—one that is wearable, non-pharmacological, and designed to fit seamlessly into daily life.

Staying Close to the People We Serve

Over the years, EmeTerm has grown—but our perspective has remained grounded.

Beyond common use cases like motion sickness or pregnancy-related nausea, we've been deeply moved by members of our community who face more complex, often overlooked conditions. Users living with challenges such as tic disorders, functional gastrointestinal disorders, or ADHD have shared how they explore EmeTerm as part of their daily management routines.

These stories are not always clinical. They are personal, experimental, and often filled with uncertainty. But they remind us why we continue. We listen. We learn. And we move forward together.

With Gratitude, We Continue

12 years is not a milestone we celebrate with noise—it's one we acknowledge with gratitude. To every user who has trusted us, shared feedback, or simply included EmeTerm in their journey: thank you. Your experiences continue to shape what we build and how we think.

As we enter EmeTerm Brand Week (May 25th–May 31st), we invite you to celebrate with us—not just our story, but yours. In the coming days, we'll be sharing a series of special activities and offers as a small way of giving back to the community that has grown with us. Because this story was never just ours to tell.
