EmeTerm for Kids — A New Era of Family Travel Comfort

At EmeTerm, we know that one of the most joyful experiences for a family is a shared outing—whether it’s a scenic drive, a day at the amusement park, or a weekend by the beach. Yet for many parents, that joy is clouded even before departure if a child suffers from motion sickness. The car ride hasn’t even begun, and the battle with nausea has already started.

That’s why, in early 2025, our team embarked on a mission: to create a version of EmeTerm built specifically for kids. We listened to our users—families, caregivers and travelers—and gathered insights about the unique needs of young wearers. Their voices guided our design and engineering. In September this year, we proudly introduced EmeTerm for Kids, inviting a select group of our loyal brand users to participate in an exclusive early-access experience.

Why it’s different: Tailored for young travelers

While the regular EmeTerm model remains a highly effective anti-nausea wearable, the Kids version has been refined in 4 key ways:

  • Gentler electrical stimulation output: Given the thinner skin and more sensitive wrists of children, we calibrated the stimulation power to deliver the neuromodulation effect of our TEAS (transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation) technology—but at a more comfortable, age-appropriate intensity.

  • Breathable nylon strap in place of silicone: Comfort and ease were top priorities. The Kids version uses a lightweight, breathable nylon wristband that children can readily put on themselves. It’s softer on the skin, less sticky, and more travel-friendly.

  • Enhanced waterproof performance: We know children play, splash, explore freely—and a wrist device needs to keep up. The new model features higher water-resistance so that accidental splashes or a bit of fun at the water’s edge won’t mean immediate device worry.

  • Dust and mud resistant design: Family trips don’t just happen in clean cars or tidy hotel rooms—they happen in parks, on playgrounds, and along hiking trails. Knowing how easily kids can get muddy or sandy, our engineers added an improved dust- and mud-resistant shell. The sealed structure helps prevent dirt particles from entering the device, ensuring stable electrical output and longer durability even after outdoor play. Whether your child is building sandcastles, biking through puddles, or simply exploring nature, EmeTerm for Kids stays clean, functional, and ready for the next ride.

User feedback so far: Early praise and continuous improvement

Over the past 2 months, we’ve invited participants from Amazon’s Vine Program and other reviewing communities to trial EmeTerm for Kids and share their honest feedback. Although the model is still fresh to market, we already see consistent positive remarks:

“The milder pulses were just right for my 8-year-old’s wrist—he didn’t even notice it till the car ride was smooth.”

“The nylon strap was a game-changer—he slipped it on himself, no fuss, and we felt relaxed.”

“Water-proofing meant no panic when we hit the splash zone—great for family outings.”

These themes reflect what we set out to achieve. And we’re not stopping there. Our team is eager to hear more from everyday users like you.
